The founding father of our illustrated volumes has for over 10 years been the award-winning illustrated volume New York Vertical, which made photographic history and became an international bestseller. This success was due not least to the unusual format of these XXL editions of half a metre in width, which is ideally suited to panorama photographs. Several more volumes in our XXL format have been added over the years in the form of the standart work Tibet by Jaroslav Poncar, Alpen by Rudolf Rother, Bridges by Karl Lang, Paris Vertical by Horst Hamann, Castillos by Helmut Hirler, Atacama by Karl Lang and Burma as well as Himalayas by Jaroslav Poncar. We added two more titles to the serie - Himalayan Kingdoms by Jaroslav Poncar, who has assorted his best photographs of the Himalayan region from the past 40 years for this illustrated volume, and furthermore Münchner Hausberge by our new photographer Uwe-Carsten Fiebig, who has portrayed all major mountains surrounding the Bavarian capital with 360° photography. All volumes from this series are individually designed by our graphic artists, perfectly printed under the supervision of the photographers and hand-bounded in linen.
