Countless times, Helmut Hirler has mounted his motorcycle to travel to Spain for his life's project. He tracked down even the most hidden Spanish castles and portrayed them in photographs that show his unique ability to achieve perfect compositions. This photo book depicts the whole spectrum of Spanish castles of the past thousand years, ranging from conserved and restored Castillos to almost completely derellict ruins.
