Helmut Hirler

HELMUT HIRLER was born in Wangen in Allgäu, Bavaria in 1954. Since 1979, he has worked as the Technical Instructor for Photographers and Technological / Media Assistants at the Vocational College in Bad Saulgau. For many years, Helmut Hirler traveled all over Spain by motorcycle - with his panorama camera he captures these extraordinary pictures of castles on infrared Film. His photographs received first prizes at the 1999 AGFAnet, at the World Heritage and Hasselblad Austrian Super Circuit 2002 awards. The Photographic Society of America likewise bestowed their gold medal on him. He received both the International Kodak Photo Calendar Prize and the Stuttgart Calendar Show Award for his calendars "Castillos" and "Nature".
